This is as nice as you will ever get a chance to own. This is an amazing original excavated 12# cannonball and still has its complete wood drive fuse. This is the classic style that was used by the artillery during the Civil War. The ball was fired from the 12# cannon that had a 4.62 inch diameter bore size. The iron is in superb shape for an excavated piece and has a fine look. It has been disarmed and but has been cleaned. The verbal history that accompanied the piece that it was found at North Georgia. This was an area of one of the fights between General Sherman and the Confederates trying to keep Sherman from getting to Atlanta. This is a very nice looking Confederate cannonball for the money! This one came out of the Tom Dickey Bill Adams collection.

If payment is not received within 7 days the item will be placed back for sale. Please call between 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern Time. A minimum charge of $8.00 will be added to cover shipping. Items can be shipped FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. Georgia residents must include 7% sales tax. All items are 100% GUARANTEED. If for any reason you are unhappy with the relic just return it UNALTERED within 5 days for a refund minus shipping charges and restocking fee of 6%. Layaways can be arranged on items over $100. Layaway terms are; 1/3 down and 1/3 in 30 days with balance due in full in 60 days. Due to time factors there are no refunds or price discounts on layaways.
