Mid war Contract US belt buckle with arrow hooks. This variant is shown on page 314, of O’Donnell and Campbell’s reference book "American Military Belt Plates”. This dug buckle is less common than you would think. Part of the leather belt remains under hooks. It has a beautiful green patina.
