1908; Outstanding original cloth bag measuring 4” in height, 3.75” wide, appears to be home spun woven material titled C.S.A. artwork of General Lee in center flanked by confederate flags with cannons, rifle, and sword, with date 61-65, back of bag is titled state reunion NC Confederate veterans Winston Salem NC August 19th & 20th 1908, Compliments Lipfert-scales Co. makers of red meat tobacco, overall condition is outstanding and original. This grouping belonged to Joseph Andrew 47th NC Co. D out of Greensboro NC enlisted at 15 years old. Other items included are a 1907 Richmond UCV reunion medal, a ID Ribbon top with his name on it, a UCV State reunion badge for Winston Salem NC August 19-20 1908, a 47th NC badge Complements pin from the no.437 UCV camp and the big plus the tobacco bag has the Confederate poems that were issued with the tobacco bag with the national flags on them. This is such a rare UCV item. Another Liipfert- Scales Red Meat Tobacco bag just it sold for $1800. This one has the insert with it plus the CS veteran reunion items.

After you place your order and receive confirmation from Dixie Relics. The item will be held for 7 days for the payment to arrive. If payment is not received within 7 days the item will be placed back for sale. Please call between 9:30 AM and 7:00 PM Eastern Time. A minimum charge of $8.00 will be added to cover shipping. Items can be shipped FedEx or USPS Priority Mail. Georgia residents must include 7% sales tax. All items are 100% GUARANTEED. If for any reason you are unhappy with the relic just return it UNALTERED within 5 days for a refund minus shipping charges and restocking fee of 6%. Layaways can be arranged on items over $100. Layaway terms are; 1/3 down and 1/3 in 30 days with balance due in full in 60 days. Due to time factors there are no refunds or price discounts on layaways.
